My vehicle listed above Denali drivers seat moves forward or backward about one inch then stops. I can get it into position by keep using the switch using a bump and stop method. I have replaced the switch and same issue. So need some help in the right direction all other seat positions work just fine it's only the forward and backward that moves then stops. Thanks, Eric

More then likely this is the seat motor but we need to test this to confirm it. I attached the wiring diagram below that will show what wires we need to check coming out of the switch. The green and tan wires are the forward and reverse so when you press the switch one way vs the other it applies power to one side of the motor then the other. This moves the motor in one direction then the other. So we need to make sure the motor is getting the voltage when pressing the switch. If it is then the motor is the failed.

Here is a guide that will help with this:

There is also a chance you got a failed switch but if it is doing the same thing before and after you replaced the switch the motor is the most likely issue.

I attached the info below on all of this. Let us know what questions you have. Thanks
