So the driver window stopped working. Tried to put a new motor on the plug to see if the motor works, nope. I'm convinced it's a wire broken somewhere. I've been trying to look at the wiring between the door but it's really hard to get to.
Do you
have the same problem?

A common area for wire failure on them is in the accordion boot between the door and A pillar. The constant flexing of the wires causes them to break. There should be two wires a brown and a dark blue. The way it works is by reversing the polarity to the motor. If either one breaks you get no motor action. If the passenger window still works you know the fuse and ground are okay as they are shared. Then it comes down to the motor, the main switch or the express down relay. You already tried a motor so that leaves the switch relay or wiring. The fastest way to tell would be to remove the accordion boot and access the wires. Then give them a tug while watching the insulation. If you see a break or the insulation starts to stretch and hourglass you found the problem. Repair the wire and it should work.

Thanks, I will try that. I actually had the same issue in my Rendezvous where the back window wouldn't roll down. I watched a 1:30 minute video where a guy said exactly that, check the accordion piece. A wire was broken. I'm sure the wire is broken here. And yes the passenger side works just fine.

It's a common issue with wiring, drivers side gets the most use so it's usually the first to fail. Unless it's a Jeep Cherokee, on those it's usually the rear hatch wiring because they not only bend the wires but twist them at the same time. Brilliant design that is.
Let us know what you find.
