Driver side window will not roll down

All of a sudden the driver's side window will not roll down. You can roll the other 3 windows down at driver's side control but not at the individual controls.

I have replaced the drivers side switch and the main window motor unit.

Yes I have checked the fuse and even swapped it out.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on what to check next.

Hello, was the fuse blown? It sounds like there's a wiring problem in the wiring loom where the door meets the frames. Pull that open and see if there's and broken wires in there.

No the fuse was not blown. I will pull the look back and take a look at the wires. Thank you for your reply.

No problem, let us know what you find. The wires move a lot in there, every time you open and close your door, so that's where I'd start.

That fixed the problem. Looks like a kid got in there with a knife it was so bad. I'm hopeful that will also fix my parasitic draw problem.

It's so weird how wires just end up snapped like that, as for the draw issue, is it an overnight no start?

More like 2 nights. I put a meter on it before and it was like 1.5 amp draw after everything finally cycled off.

Okay, the best way to watch for a draw is keep the amp clamp on the circuit to watch the draw and next go across each fuse after the system has gone to sleep, any fuse that is registering a voltage reading has current flow on it. Instead of unplugging fuses because that's only going to wake modules back up and some take up to 20 minutes I think to time out.

I am having the same problem. Where is this wiring loom on driver side or passenger sides? Of it is on driver side how is possible that we can send up and down the windows from the driver master power switch but not from their individual are the getting power all from the driver master power switch? I will re open mine to look for this cause until now I didn't find anything that can cause this kind of problem.

There are wire harnesses to each door. Each has it's own power and ground however the actual motion from the drivers controls are through the computer network connected to the drivers door control module. Each door local control sends a signal to that module telling it up or down. Then the module commands the motor for the window. If the control wires get broken or shorted it can cause problems depending on what broke and how. The wiring diagram is attached.
