The driver’s side running light won’t turn on, the brake light and blinker still work but the running light does not want to. I have LED taillights and I thought it might’ve just been the assembly going out, so I replaced them and same problem, I’ve checked the fuses, the wiring, I even looked into the trailer harness and still nothing.

I suspect you have an issue with the TIPM. So, let's start by checking the voltage at this lamp when it should be on.

If it has voltage, then we more than likely have a ground issue.

However, if there is no voltage then we need to trace it back to the TIPM and find out if you have it coming out.

I suspect you will find it is not there.

If that is the case, then more than likely you have an issue on the circuit board of the TIPM. Unfortunately, this is pretty common.

I am attaching the info from the manual on how to replace the TIPM because I suspect that is where we are going. Additionally, the wiring diagram is there so that we can perform this testing.

Please run through this and let me know what questions you have.

Thanks
