If the lockers hadn't been auctioned off, every one of the computers that I hand built would still be running. I'm on my second laptop and it runs like a champ, but I know how to cheat.

I love my music. Being ADHD, I need something going in the background to help keep one portion of my mind occupied. Otherwise I wouldn't get much of anything done.

Cluster 20 amp in a 1997 Jeep Grand cherokee keeps draining the battery?
Any suggestions?

Alternator is tested and works fine. Battery is new and tests fine. Every couple of days it drains the battery. If driven every day it is fine. Otherwise, DEAD! The amp draw with the battery disconnected in 0.18 to 0.20 amps and the alternator is drawing 0.000amps. I started pulling fuses in the engine fuse block and the third on I pulled (Mux/T Tow 50 amp) the amp draw dropped to 0.008amps. This fuse is for the interior lights the gauges brake lights and the tow harness. I researched it on the internet and found the BCM body control module is the most often cause. I then removed the fuses inside the passenger interior fuse block and found the related fuse is labeled (cluster 20 amp) and when removed the draw is gone. The BCM needs to be replaced to fix this problem or take out the fuse every time you leave it parked. I have it disconnected and will see if it starts tommorow morning to be sure.

Any suggestions please?

Hi, the BCM can be the cause, however, there may be something, touching or still on somehow. I would check the items on this fuse first. Before condemning the bcm

I do feel that the BCM is going to have to be replaced, your diagionstic are correct as far as I can see, cheaper option to pull the fuse, but do you want to have to do that ever time you park the car?
