Door blend actuator on the 2017 is different than earlier models and I cannot seem to figure out how to take it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You are right. They are slightly different so here is the info that you need:

First this is a video of replacing one that just has some good info.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/replace-blend-door-motor

Please see the info below on how to remove both blend doors if you have dual zone system. If you do not then you only have the right side blend door.

I also included the all the subcomponents that need to be removed.

Please run through this material and let us know what other info you need.

Thank you for the quick reply. However, this is no help since the video posted is for Chevy impala 2007-2014 and I’m asking about the 2017. It’s different and you can get to it by dropping the glove box door but you cannot take it out by only doing that. You must remove more. My worry is that the chrome strip and plastic strip may get damaged. I’m seeking help or a video before attempting or seeking an overpriced dealer for the simple repair.

Sorry the video did not help but please use the instructions from the manual that I attached below the previous post. The video has some good info that will apply but that is why I provided the process from the manual that includes each of the steps that you need in order to access both actuators.

If you look at the first attachment you will see that step one states to remove the floor duct, and the next attachment is the process for this and then so on with each step.

Please run through this and let us know if you still have questions.

Thanks
