No air coming from my center console rear vents

Air does come through the floor foot vents. There is a tapping sound coming from around the timing chain tensioner area it's very annoying. I don't know if it's the tensioner the timing chain or the front cassettes broken because sometimes the noise goes away for a few minutes.

These are two different problems. we will handle the vent issue on this post you can repost. For the vent problem it sounds like the mode actuator is not working which is common. here is a guide to walk you through the steps and diagrams below to show you how on your car:
