Check engine light's on, throwing a P2004 code: "Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve stuck Open Bank 1." Additional code previously thrown was P2008. It's believe the problem malfunction with a sensor in the system's Actuator. The engine has 2 IMRCV switches. One of which was replaced in an attempt to solve the problem. With TWO IMRCV switches, would I be right to assume that there are also TWO actuators?

I'm eager to fixthe problem. Please let me know your thoughts. :)) Thanks, jenni j.

Check items in pic like a sticking or binding of throttle plate so clean that on both sides with choke cleaner and iac hole then check everything except pcm. There is an intake runner control and intake swirl control. Also check for a vacuum leak to actuators or on engine. One pic explains how it works it's for a ranger but similar on your car also make sure no grommets on engine are leaking inother words no air or vacuum leaks.

Thanks again for your continued support. Not being a mechanic, it's all a bit over my head. Is it possible that simply replacing the Actuator, the Intake Manifold Relay Control Valve Actuator, will fix the problem?
