Does not want to stay running

One of my friends asked me to help him with his truck and I know very little about fords but the truck will turn over and sometimes it will start for a few seconds and then die but you can feather the gas pedal and keep it sputtering but it still dies he has changed the fuel pump fuel regulator fuel filter mass airflow sensor tps sensor icm and both coil pacs it sounds to me like a fuel problem but with so many sensors it's hard to tell and none of the parts stores have a computer that is compatable unless you buy one any help would be greatly appreciated

THIS COULD POSSIBLY BE THE PROBLEM (NO GUARANTEE)

I LOOKED UP THE SAME PART FOR THE TRUCK ON YOUR END, IT LOOKS VERY SIMILAR TO THE WIFEY'S, MAYBE A BIT SMALLER

YOU MIGHT EVEN LOOK TO INSURE THE CONNECTOR IS CONNECTED WELL

CLEANING WON'T COST MUCH, SO IF I'M WRONG, LEAST IT WON'T BE EXPENSIVE

Thanks for the advice that wasn't the problem tho it was pretty dirty I ended up putting a gauge on the fuel line and the brand new fuel pump was no good but your advice fixed my car thanks a lot One more reason why I love classics

I DO SOMETIMES THROW IN, "EVEN NEW PARTS CAN BE BAD, RIGHT OFF OFF THE SHELF"

GLAD YOU ARE FIXED!

GET YOU A CJ AND I CAN HELP YOU FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER!

I HOPE TO BE LIVING THE CARBURETOR DAYS FROM NOW ON!

I HAVE MY OWN KINDA SECURITY SYSTEMS, AM STILL ABLE TO REMEMBER HOW TO SHUT MY HEADLIGHTS OFF MANUALLY,

AND I CAN CHANGE ALL OF MY SPARK PLUGS, REPLACE THE FUEL PUMP, REPLACE THE FUEL FILTER, CHANGE MY OIL, ALL, IN UNDER AN HOUR!
