When I start my truck first thing in the morning it turns over but doesn't start.I have to turn it over about six times before it starts. When it starts it sputters and putts before it runs with a heavy smell of fuel. Once it is running and I go to work it starts fine the rest of the day. The following morning it does the same thing. What could cuase this?

Does it matter if it is warm outside in the morning or cold in the morning?

Is it possible you can get it in a dry heated garage for a night or two?

Really dont wanna do this as it will cost you extra money.

First we will treat it for a lack of fuel pressure and a cold start first.

First change the coolant temp sensor and see if that fixes it. If not right after the vehicle is turned off clamp off the in and out lines of fuel rail on a rubber part of the hose then when the vehicle is ready to be started the next day turn the key to the on position then remove the clams then turn it off and then back on do this about 5 times.

Then crank it. Let me know what happens.
