Started running rough one Morning?

I have a 1998 4x4 sport short bed dodge 1500 with a 360. It started running rough one morning when I started it and the check engine light came on. I drove it and it runs fine but a little rough but once it hits 42mph the back end starts to shake real bad. But once you let off the gas it stops shaking. Any ideas?

With the check engine light on and your truck running poorly this means you have a fault code or codes stored in your truck's computer. Here is a tutorial showing how to check for fault codes:

If you don't have a scanner or code reader auto parts stores like AutoZone can check for free. After you have this check performed then get back to us with any and all diagnostic code information and we can then properly diagnose the issue you are having with your truck.
