Hi--

I have a 2005 Dodge Stratus. Recently I've replaced my waterpump with a new one. Following, I was forced to replaced my entire coolant tank, its hose, the thermostat housing, and the gastic (if spelled correctly). About five months has passed and I noticed tonight that my car is yet leaking again and that my heat isn't working, but yet blowing cold air. Every once in a while, if I turn on the heat, then it would blow like its suppose too.

I'm very aware that Chrysler cars are known for leakages, but just confused on why mines is happening so often--as it seems.

I noticed at the beginning of the week that my coolant tank was filled with coolant fluid, but now its low. My car isn't running hot or is it smoking. The only I noticed was the leakage and the non-blowing of the heat onced turned on.

So, my question is, if I was to go buy the radiator stop leak fluid and pour it into my radiator (folllowing the directions), should it stop? And if I add more coolant fluid to my coolant tank, should everything be fine?

Only if the leak is comming from the radiator and is small enough, but I would check the heater hoses that go into the fire wall to see if it has a slice in it or a hole or something, get back to me with your findings.
