MY CAR STOPS IN THE MIDDLE OF DRIVING THEN AFTER SITTING FOR SO LONG IT WILL TURN BACK ON. WHEN THE CAR STOPS AND I TRY TO RESTART IT RIGHT AWAY IT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS OUT OF GAS. COULD IT BE THE FUEL PUMP?

Hi and welcome to 2carpros

Stalling problem can be caused by an ignition or fuel system. I would check the auto shutdown relay-ASD relay, this relay powers the coil/s, fuel injectors, and fuel pump. Test the relay and comeback if more assistance is needed.
