Our car has no heat. We've changed the thermostat; checked the rad, it is full; changed the rad cap. When the fan kicks in and the gauge reads hot, I can take off the rad cap and the antifreeze is only warm. What could cause that? It has had me baffled and freezing all winter, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Check the heater hoses both should be hot
it not check if you have a heater valve on of the hoses if so check its operation and if all good
you may need to flush the heater core
