1990 Dodge Shadow miles unknown 2.2L

Every time I drive my car it will die going down the road. Some times it will start right back up, and some times it will take about 5 min. To start. I can drive it for about 10 to 20 miles and it will act this way, then some times after it will start running good for awhile

It sounds like your fuel pump. I had the same problem. I chose to drain all gas and remove the tank. Once removed I flushed it until no rust was noticed, replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter, then put it back on the vehicle. Runs great since. If you choose to get it fixed it would have cost me +-$400 in 2000.
