Really hard to say without hearing it, but I would first suspect the front differential as a guess.

Ford? Chevy? Toyota?

1/2 ton, 3/4 ton? 1 ton?

You may need to get this up on a lift and run it.

Another thing to try, to help narrow this down is to have someone pass by you so you can try to determine if it is coming from a wheel or in the drivline. Still it probably needs to go on a lift. The differential would still be my suspicion, possibly the rear could be doing this as well.
