I have a 2003 dodge ram and everytime I get up to 50 mph it starts to make a humming sound. It only does it when we are moving and pressing the gas.

I would say that the rear is or has been run dry. Check the fluid level in the rear. Most likely you need to replace or rebuild it. Your symptoms are very indicative of a failed rear.
