My heater is blowing cold air and I do not know what the problem is.

Thermostat is probably stuck open. I would replace thermostat. Follow upper heater hose to engine and you will find thermostat housing. Thermostat is underneath.

I wouldn't just replace the thermostat without testing it first.

Another possibility would be a clogged heater core that may need to be replaced or at the bare minimum, flushed.
