When the van is at a stop it blows air but not cold. Also when we excelerate it stops running. Your answer was the orifice tube might be freezing over. What do I do to fix this problem? A mechanic told us to hose out the front grill area, it helped alittle but it's still not cold air. What can I do to make sure its the orifice tube, and how can I repair it. If it needs to be taken in can any repair shop handle this, or just I go to and air repair shop, and if so about what does it run?

It may be a hblock system. Dodges usually are. So no orifice tube.

Id make sure the fans are both running good and sucking through a good quality of air. Enough to hold a sheet of paper stuck on the condensor.

Next with vehicle running feel the lines. The hblock should be cold but not ice cold and the line coming out somewhat cool.
