Engine starts and runs fine then dies when I put it in gear. Engine sounds like it is idleing too low. It will do this three or four times then no more problems until I turn the engine off and re start it. I changed plugs wires cap rotor air-filter and problem persists. Any troubleshooting tips?

Check your kick-down linkage for proper alignment. Also check your idle air control valve for proper adjustment/operation.

The throttle position sensor tells the computer what speed the engine is idleing at when they go bad the computer will get a wrong reading and will not idle correctly
