The catalytic converter on my truck right now has only one O2 sensor on it but the cat is going bad, so I am getting a new one and the one I got has 2 O2 sensors instaed of 1 can I just leave one O2 sensor alone or do I have to have it capped?

Thank you for the info, do you think the bad catalytic converter could cause the exhaust system to go silent when I fully accelerate to around 2500 rpms
