TRUCK STARTS GOOD, JUST STARTED IDLING FAST WHEN STARTED ABOUT 2K THEN WARMS UP TO 1K WHEN DRIVING. THE #3(CATALYTIC CONV.) O2 SENSOR FELL OUT OF PIPE HAS TO REPLACED THIS WEEK ALONG WITH SENSOR(DAMAGED). I THOUGHT THIS SHOULD ONLY CAUSE BAD GAS MILEAGE AND ROUGH RUNNING. I CHECKED THROTTLE CABLES AND REPLACED I.A.C. SENSOR AND PROBLEM GOT WORST STARTS AT 3K AND DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE RUN LONG BUT DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE DROPPING AFTER WARMED UP. COULD THIS BE BLOCKED CAT. CONVERTER, ANY IDEAS APPRECIATED. ED

Were there any codes in the computer for the TPS (Throttle Position) sensor? I have seen that make a Dodge idle high. Also check for vacuum leaks, spray around the intake carefully with carb cleaner, if the idle changes you have found a leak.
