Neon died

I have a 2003 Dodge Neon apprx 56,000 miles, it is a 4 cyl.I was driving normally and without any warning the car died. Lights and all dashboard lights still work. Car will not turn over. There is absolutley no "sound" to indicate a problem. No clicking or buzzing, just dead silence. The car was driving normally with no indication that it was about to die, no stalling or trouble starting car. Please I need help! I'm a single woman and I dont make alot of money!Please tell me this is not as serious as I think. Thanks, Christine
