I have the same issue. When turning the wheel to the left or the right or when driving over very rough roads or gravel you can hear a popping sound coming from both sides of the vehicle. I have also experienced under steering and over steering issues and sometimes it almost feels like I am driving on ice. The lower control arms have been replaced twice and the dealership can not seem to figure out what is wrong with my car.
I am also having trouble with the engine running rough and the transmission slamming into gear when shifting from first to second.
In additon, the car does not have anti-lock brakes but I have had problems with the brakes as well. When coming to a stop sometimes the brakes will grab and release, grab and release. Almost how a vehicle with ABS will respond when stopping hard on wet pavement, ice, etc.
To say the least, this is the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned in my life. I will never ever own another Chrysler product again!
