2004 Dodge Neon car slow

2004 Dodge Neon 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 73000 miles

My car has a slow acceleration and when I warm it up in the morning it has a knocking sound strong. When warm it still knocks but not as strong. The brakes sound like a simi truck does when it slows down and my wheel slightly shakes but not much. My gas gage only goes to 3/4 tank and my car wastes alot of gas I go 40 miles and I waste 1/4 tank. I fill it up daily 20.00$
