Today while in our car we hit a pothole and suddenly the transmission slipped out of gear. After shifting the car into neutral and back into drive. It appeared everything was fine and then it actually slipped out of gear again. After stopping and starting again the car started out fine once again and after about thirty seconds slipped out again. The car will shift into the higher gears but slips out and my randomly engage so as to be actually in gear maybe half of the time. We quickly brought the car home. The codes that were indicated are the following if anyone can help answer the most probable cause of this problem it would be appreciated. The codes are po700, po732, po733, po734 and po846, Is this most likely a loose connection or fault, an actual trans-axle control problem, or possibly something internal? We have only had the car for about two months. The fluid is full and clean and the car had a complete diagnostic check-up before we purchased it. Also, there is a whirring/whining noise that starts after about twenty to thirty seconds on the driver side near the trans-axle in the front of the engine compartment when the car is sitting and idling. Thanks ahead for any help you can give.

It sounds like the PCM has a bad connection at the transmission. Can you remove the connector and check for corrosion please? Here is the PCM location as well. Also check the fluid level.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please run this test and get back to us.

Cheers
