2002 Dodge Neon Uneven tire wear

The tires are wearing on the inside. Looking from behind the tires are tilted top in on both sides. Is that due to the struts being bad and if not what do you recommend replacing. Also would replacing the rear wheel bearings also be a good investment with the tires being chambered so bad?

While 50K miles is about the time the strut be replaced, it is more likely to be alignment issue. Has the car been lowered from factory height? Wheel bearing has no concern with tire wear. Well, it does, but not as much as alignment and camber adjustment.

I suggest a visit to suspension/alignment specialist. You may need to replace the tires (obviously), struts (all around), and alignment after all work is completed.

The car wasnt lowered from stock ride hight, I have noticed a decrease in the comfort of the ride over the last few months. When I had new tires put on it about 6 months ago and had a full alignment done thats why I feel its the struts. Also its seems to be a slight grind in the rear of the car and thats why I brought up wheel bearing, and with the tires being cambered like that I thought it would put a unusual strain on the bearings.

Sounds like you need a 4 wheel alignment and some camber kits for all 4 wheels which would be available at any good alignment shop. Possible struts also.
