1998 Dodge Neon CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

Im trying to find out why the service engine will not stay on once the key has been turned foward but the car will still start and I bought a brand new ecm but I cant still figure out why it wont stay on and also if it warm up it takes longer to restart if you shut it off after the engine is warm can you give me a clue or dianose of the problem

If you turn key on engine off
check engine light should come on
light should shut off after it start
if it does not you have a trouble code need to check for codes
cycle ignition key on off on off on
read codes in odometer area and let me know
