I had trouble with my starter. With a full battery.
I replaced starter and everything was fine. Next day new starter same problem. I took off starter and cleaned bell housing of gunk, to no avail. Why would it work fine Saturday afternoon and not sunday moring?

Can you tell if there is a load on the starter, key in the crank position, watch the dome or dash lites, any reaction? If the lites stay bright don't flutter or dim, sounds like open circuit to the starter, possibilities, ignition switch, clutch switch, problem with wiring circuit somewhere. There is a starter relay in power distribution center, under the hood, check voltage circuits at relay, when problem is ongoing. When testing at relay, make sure tranny is in neutral, ebrake is set, block the wheels.
