Oil leaking from bellhousing

I have a 97 dodge neon leaking oil not ATF from the bellhousing What could cause it leaks pretty good about 1-1/2 drops of oil per second?

Hello,

It sounds like the rear main seal is leaking. Over time the seal deteriorates and starts to leak.
Replacing the rear main seal is time consuming as you will have to remove the bellhousing to access it.
