Engine Cooling problem
1997 Dodge Neon 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

driving down the interstate and heard a loud pop and in a mater of seconds it was Very HOT yeah the bell went off! Finally got pulled over and it was pouring coolant from underneath I thought it may have been the bottom hose to dark to see exactly where its coming from so I thought I will just keep pouring water in till I get to a safer spot and it wont start back :( so does this mean it blew do you think I will have to replace the motor? I know new water pump thermostat hoses that sort of thing im a girl and and like to work on my own things but I have never had one to get so hot it wouldn't start back lol it will crank but no start I was thinking it may have jumped time? Idk any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks, Peon

You need to find the leak.
My guess is the water pump seized and the timing belt broke. IF so the engine may have damage as it is an interference engine.

One sign of a timing belt breaking is the engine turns over faster than normal.
