Well the way my car is I have 2 cats that runf ronm the manifolds and the two pipes come out into 1 muffler then a single pipe runs out of the first muffler into the second muffler out the rear of the car.

But can a exhaust make a ringing noise during acceleration after the car warms up?

Also the noise is made if the car is warmed up and I rev it in park but the noise always seems to go away for a while and then return. Can the exhust still be in question as the problem?

Still no luck finding a solution so I guess I will have to drive with the noise until it becomes more consistent and lworse so the mechanics can figure it out.

Sometimes that is what you have to do unfortunatly. Noises that are that specific to temp, time and speed are the hardest to find

I think it has to be something really stupid causind this noise because once it strats doing the noise when the car warms up 5 minutes later the noise will go away.

This may be a longshot but a couple of months ago when I too my intake manifold off there was this pretty big spongy piece of foam underneathe their but it was ripped in half well I took that out and now that im thinking about it ever since I took that out the noise started

Still no luck but this noise is driving me crazy and its so hard to pinpoint. No mechanic can pinpoint it either. The car was hooked up to the chassis ear and they still couldnt pinpoint the noise

I have figured out that its coming from underneath the car near the bottom of the engine bay but I cant figure out where its coming from in the engine bay.
