Car was smoking did not run hot there was no heat the gasket on the out side of motor blew off and sprayed water everywhere. The car shut its self down and the radiator cap was not hot and water was still in over flow.

Are you sure the temp gauge wasn't showing overheating? If it wasn't, what is the present problem? Have you had the "gasket" replaced? Which gasket was it?
