I droved the vehicle for about 45 minutes, then it started to over heat with white steam coming out under the hood. I don't know anything about vehicles. I let it set all day after over heat and let it cool. A friend of mine check it again and he fill up more water and coolant and it didn't over heat anymore.

He said it could be just a glich that cost to do that, (which I don't know what he means about glich).

Do you think there could be something wrong with the vehicle? Some people think it could be the thermostat.
We check all the hoses and there is no leaks or anything like that. We also check the radiator fan and both of the fans work just fine.

This incident only happend once.

Please help and thanks.

Hello and thanks for donating

Have you drove it since it overheated? It could be many things but since you already ruled out the cooling fan, hoses and any leaks that helps a lot. The next thing would be to remove and test the thermostat. If the tstat is OK then there may be blockage of the cooling system, in which case you would need to have a cooling system flush.

If standing in front of the car. Bottom left corner you will see a black plug below and to the left of the cooling fans.
