I just got my head gasket repaired and it seems that the engine is still misfiring and white smoke is still coming out of the tailpipe. Is it wise to drive it? Will this eliminate the smoke? How can I fix the misfiring engine. I replaced the spark plugs. HELP!

Hi there, was the head crack tested, checked for warp & twist and re faced or was the gasket just replaced?

Both heads were reserfaced and gaskets and headbolts were replaced. No it wasn't tested but diagnosed by a mechanic that was a friend of the family.

The check engine light came on today as well.
