Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Dodge Intrepid 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1998 Dodge intrepid, I bought it used and have no remotes for it.
The car ran great it would stall once in a while for no reason. Autozone cant pull any codes it says error cant connect to computer.

2 weeks ago my husband put an amplifyer in the car just hooking to the battery terminals, we drove to the store was in the store about 30 minutes come out and it wouldnt start, had it towed home, the next day we took positive off for 30 minutes and it started. Went to start it later and no go, I have checked fuses, battery, starter all is fine. The next day it started 4 or 5 times and let it run a while, started it this morning and let it run for 5 minutes and now it wont start at all, can someone please help me. HELP ME FOR REAL

When it doesn't start, does the starter work? Is there a security light staying on? Does the battery need recharged or just disconnected and reconnected? Are you sure the terminals are clean and tight?

Starter works, no security lights at all, we have put it on a charger and all terminals are clean and tight.
I guess it doesnt really matter now we took the car back where we got it, they can deal with it. Thanks for your time

Would you mind listing what the problem was when they fix it? I would like to know.

The anti theft is great when it works, but I agree, they can cause problems.
