1996 Dodge Intrepid V8

i have a 96 intrepid and I just changed out the starter.I took it out for a spin and its not shifting right. What could be the problem?I checked the fluid and its only a bit low not much just a bit. Help! Plz

Hi there,

If the oil level is OK, I would get a transmission specialist to test drive and report for you, as you do really need to feel what the transmission is doing, you may just have a blocked filter or sticky shift valve, there will be a few tests that can be done to determine the exact cause of this problem.
