Check the cat because it can cause a power loss as well as other things. Let me know what you find.

For the pressure regulator-pull the vacuum hose, if it has gas then it's leaking.

For the injectors-remove the fuel rail along with the injectors-turn the key on and see if it's leaking.

My wife was getting onto the interstate in her 2001 Dodge Durango 4x4. When she hit the gas, the engine would accelerate, but will not move. We tried putting it in 4 wheel drive, reverse, and nothing. It didnt make any unusual noises or give us any problems leading."

Yes, It is an automatic. I just checked the oil and tranny fluid this weekend and the levels were good. I changed the tranny fluid about 10,000 miles back. It wasnt giving us any signs of any issues. Last Friday, we were driving in a snow storm and had it in 4 high, but we didnt go over 45 mph. No problems then.

I have a 01 Durango. I just replaced front drive shaft. Something still wrong. When slowing down or giving it gas to go its like the brakes are locking up or something. It has no power but tries to go. It will go after few minutes. Go to turn or slow down.

Your truck most likely overheated and it spit the coolant out of the radiator, try refilling the coolant and starting the engine, if it hits high temps again then mostlikely you have a thrermostat problem

Lack of acceleration, chugging, hesitating, jerking, bogging, misfiring etc. Could be caused by one of the following below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it.
