1998 Dodge Durango Engine Check soon light On

Just baught a Durango, and I have few lights on on my Dash,
1. Check Engine Light is on.
2. ABS Light is on.
3. P/I for Parking is on.

never had a Durango before but if some one could help me identify these problems that would be great. And also would like to know if there is a way to get the Engine codes with out using ODBII reader.

THe lights indicate there are codes stored in the computer. You will need the scanner to check them and yes what you have should work. Here is a how to for checking for codes:
