What is the reason you think the module failed? Error codes or what else. Does a scan tool talk to the current module? What codes is it showing? Have you tried re-flashing the current unit? The module itself is in the steering column. You remove the shrouds from the column and the module and antenna are right under the covers. About the only place to get a replacement will be through a dealership if you want to be able to program it to work in your vehicle, they are a write once part. So you enter the correct country code and options codes in the module or it will not operate properly if at all. You also must use the factory scan tool to program them as the aftermarket tools don't work on that module even though they claim they do.

That would do it. About the only option then is probably to get a used one and see if someone can reset it to blank. You can get the SKIM code through a dealer by giving them the VIN and proof of ownership, but then you need a blank module to write it to. The other option is to see if one of the companies that does ECU work can write the security option out of the code. Flashmastersecm. Com might be able to help. Never used them but a couple folks told me they used them.

Chrysler didn't make things easy with their vehicles, especially with all the different owner changes that made them into a hodgepodge of parts that then stop being supported soon after.
