I have a 1990 dodge dakota with a 2.7 L. I just change fuel filter cleaned out all the fuel lines and changed the fuelpump. Everything was fine and I took the truck for a ride and when I made a rightturn, not very hard, she shutdown. Waited a few minutes and she started again. Got it home and have been pulling out my hair since. Anyone got ideas or things to check? Also anyone have a picture or drawing of the fuelpump installation and connections so I can check if i'm correct?

Yes, your pump is in tank left side I believe, now when you turn right the gas SWISHES and goes away therefore no gas to pump. Drop tank examine

do yourself

Thanks bubba spent sometime today trouble shooting. I was concentrating on the fuel system since that was the last thing worked on, change filter, fuelpump, and throttle body injector. Turns out to be and i'm hoping this is finally it. The connector from the wiring harness to the distributor was loose and I think that the bodyroll on right turn cause it to seperate just enough to cause the shut down. I pushed it together and tywraped it tight. So far so good. Sometimes its not always what you just messed with.
