2005 Dodge Dakota V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

How do I press the bushings out of the control arm wi thout removing the ball joint? Also, if I have to remove the ball joint I still need the easiest way to press the bushing out.

Go to Autozone and rent the ball joint press with control arm bushing press adapters. You can unbolt the arm from the frame leave ball joint connected, and swing the arm out towards the wheel well, then press the bushings and reverse the steps to reinstall it.
