2003 Dodge Dakota 4.7 Magnum a HO engine?

If it isn't, can I put an HO in it.

THe 4.7 is a strong engine that still can get good MPG. However, I don't believe it is rated as HO.

I wouldn't recommend changing the engine. THere are many things you can get to increase HP. My only concern is if the trans will hold up for you.
