My truck has been having problems starting. It idles rough if you start it after ten mins of driving it. The guys at the store said it was not getting enough fuel pressure

Hi:
It could be fuel pressure. Is the check engine light on? Also, have you checked for vacuum leaks (especially near the EGR)? Finally, if you want to check the fuel pressure, it's not hard. Here is a "How To" video you can watch:

https://www.2carpros.com/dia/test_fuel_pressure.htm

The gauge being used can be purchased through 2carpros, or many parts stores will lend or rent one.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
