2000 Dodge Dakota waterpump

I just recently yesterday recently installed a new waterpump and I also put a new belt and a new thermostat. How do I tell if the water pump is good or bad. It still seems to be overheating, I just replaced thermostat for second time in last two days. Just to make sure.

Hi there,

Water pumps give little or no trouble, I would be getting the radiator professionally cleaned and flow tested, just back flushing with a hose dose nothing, look at this first.
