Some times when I try to start the truck I get nothing. Like the batt. Is dead or starters gone out if I keep trying to start it (off &on off on) it will finaly start and work fine for awhile then start doing it again! Do you have an idea what it could be I'm out of work and can't spend alot of money but need to get it fixed please help. Thank you very much!

Next time vehicle ont crank try jumping the starter solenoid. Does it start now? If so the solenoid is possibly bad or it isnt getting teh start signal from the ignitioin switch and neutral safety switch.

If nothing suspect a bad starter. Take starter and solenoid to autopart store near you and they should test it for free.
