When truck is cold runs perfect when it warms up and shut it off and when I try to restart it I gotta play with the gas pedal for about 20 secs and it runs fine I located a bad connection on the crank sensor by tapping wires and heard the relays clicking I fixed the wire but it was still doing the same problem I then disconnected battery for 30 sec and everything was normal my question is, would the pcm store the half connection from the crank sensor and by disconnecting battery solve problem or could there be an underlying problem? No codes show up either even before I "reset" the pcm

It sounds like a bad throttle position sensor or idle air control valve. Is the only problem at idle?

Yes that is the only problem it only does it when it warms up and I start it again after a short trip cold it starts and runs fine warm it fires up then dies. After it stalled with the switch in the on position I started tapping on wires and the crank position sensor connector when hit I heard all the relays clicking so I pushed the wire in the connector and started it and it the same thing so I unhooked the battery waited 30 sec and hooked back up and it seems to be running fine again but im dont know if the pcm would have been running the truck with the info stored of a loose connection until I reset it, is that even a possibility?
