1995 Dodge Dakota engine stalls

I've had this truck about 6 weeks and it just quits with no warning. This happens 3-4 times a week. It usually starts right back. But sometimes it has to sit 30 minutes or so before it starts.(Not good on I-80 at rush hour) What can I do, I can't afford a mechanic at this time.

I had a very similar problem with one about a year ago. It ran fine then would cut out but start right back up. It had a bad map sensor. However, when you experience the problem, have you ever been able to check for spark and fuel to the engine?
