1995 Dodge Dakota engines shuts down

Engine shuts down after running for 5 min. Have to let it sit then will start after a few hours. It started doing this after my son jump started another car. He thought that he had run out of gas the firsttime it did it which was about 15 min after doing the jump start.
I have replaced the cut off relay, have fuel in the injector right after it shuts off.
the blink code is 27 fuel injector curcuit
can you give me some ideas I am leaning toward the computer but dont want to buy one unless tht is it.
