One power door lock works intermittently.I checked power to the switches and one switch has no power coming to it. The other one has power and works for both locks.I can get power to both switches but rarely.I know they are wired together. Can one use a jumper to see if the bad one can work both locks? The wires are difficult to get to and underneath the dash.I used a voltage light and a volt meter. Any ideas.I don't want to rewire if I don't have to. It is more than I am capable of doing. When I jiggle the wires in the boot, whhere they go between the jamb and the cab, I got it to work but only for a minute. It acts like a short. Is it safe to assume it is there? What if I were to replace part of the wire?Sound to easy? Thanks

That would be the first place I look. The wiring in the door is always moving and that is where they break down.

Let me know what you find.

I fixed it! Broken wire inside the boot, in the door jamb. Just spliced it together. Thanks

Great! I'm glad you found it. I had a feeling that is where the problem was, but I couldn't be 100% sure without being there to check.

Take care, and if you have questions in the future, let us know.
